Katharine Hardin » Hello!

Hello!

Hello! My name is Katie Hardin and I have the privilege of being the English Language teacher for our English Language Learners at Ashland City Elementary STEM Academy. I graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee in 2008 with a B.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language, and from Purdue University in 2010 with an M.A. in General Linguistics. This is my 12th year teaching in Tennessee and my second year in Cheatham County! I am married to Cody, pastor of young adults at first Baptist Joelton. My hobbies include writing, playing piano, gluten-free baking, and studying Spanish and American Sign Language. We have a wonderful group of students and I feel very blessed to be at ACESA this year! I look forward to seeing my students grow in their reading, writing, listening, speaking, and, most importantly, their love for learning!
