I am thrilled to join the staff at ACESA as an Individualized Intervention Teacher!
I will embark upon my fourteenth year of teaching this year! My experience includes teaching 2nd grade, 3rd grade, kindergarten, as well as RTI (Response To Intervention) for kindergarten through 4th grades. My favorite part of teaching is being able to witness all of the social and academic growth children make throughout the year!
I graduated from MTSU and am currently working on a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading Specialist emphasis.
I have been married to my husband for 14 years. We have an 11 year old daughter that has recently earned her black belt in taekwondo! Additionally, we have a dog named Honey and a rabbit named Thumper. In our spare time, you can find us boating on Cheatham Lake!
I believe that children benefit most when teachers and parents are on the same page; we are a team. Communication is key. Please feel free to reach out to me regarding any questions or concerns you may have regarding your child!
I look forward to meeting and working with your child.
