Hola! I am Mrs. Carmen Claudio. I am the ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher in Ashland City Elementary School. I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. I began my schooling at the University of Puerto Rico, and finished it at Austin Peay State University.
My husband Jerry and I have two beautiful daughters, Debbie and Jerica. We also have four wonderful grandchildren: Anthony, Gabriel, Giovanni, and Gianna. After traveling to many different places, my husband retired from the armed forces at Ft. Campbell, KY. and we decided to finally settle in Tennessee.
My hobbies are hiking, exercising, reading, cooking, and gardening. I also love to relax by the beach watching the sunset.
I absolutely love teaching English Learners students, as I was one myself a few years ago. I also enjoy teaching an Adult English class in Ashland City. I enjoy the faculty and staff at Ashland City Elementary, the community, and the parents of my EL students.
