Special Education Resource Interventionist

I am the resource interventionist for Ashland City Elementary, and I absolutely love my job.  My focus is on helping students with a variety of learning difficulties to improve their skills and be the best student they can be! 

 

I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, my Master's Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and my Education Specialist Degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  I taught in the general education classroom for 15 years, and have worked exclusively with special education students for the last 7 years.

 

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers football team!
