About Mr. G

Jared Greece was born and raised in rural Western Pennsylvania, outside of Pittsburgh. He's been involved in music for 30+ years. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.S. in Music Education (Choral/General/Instrumental) with a concentration in classical guitar and a minor in voice in 2006. On top of teaching music, he's also involved in live performance. 

He began his teaching career at Pegram Elementary School in 2007, and then transferred to Ashland City in 2011. His main instruments are the guitar, bass, and ukulele. 

He and his wife, Lindsay Greece (Harpeth Middle General/choral music), are also animal lovers, and enjoy helping the local animal shelter when they can.
